I am a multidisciplinary artist with a design and illustration background. 

My whole life I have always been a storyteller and although I currently mostly work with collage, I also delve into content creation, writing and other mediums.

I have reached a point in my work, where everything I make has its core in something I deeply believe in. My work is rooted in my biography, in my experiences and in my interests and so allow me to connect to others on a very personal level.

This course is structured into 7 chapters, each one guiding you closer to your own creative core.

We’ll begin by exploring what inspiration truly is—where it lives, how to notice it, and how to gather ideas from your surroundings, interests, and personal history.

From there, you’ll move through a series of playful exercises and creative prompts designed to help you:

MODULE 1

Introduction

This chapter welcomes you to the course and explains its structure, materials, and tools, including a sketchbook for recording work and ideas. It addresses common misconceptions about creativity and creatives, and introduces the three levels of inspiration. 

MODULE 2

Your surroundings

This chapter lets you explore your surroundings creatively, introduces you to the idea of creating a resource collection, and explores the value of observation.

It includes mini exploration and reflection tasks as well as a field trip that will help you see the place you live in a new light.

MODULE 3

Play

This chapter explores playful drawing techniques, it encourages creativity through spontaneous exercises. The final task invites you to plan a dedicated time to play and invent alternative worlds around personal photographs.

MODULE 4

Community

This chapter focuses on community and connection, exploring the differences between online and real-life relationships and the people who inspire us. Tasks include reflecting on rituals adopted from others, creating narratives based on people you see, and making something inspired by a loved one. 

MODULE 5

Interests & Research

This chapter explores the importance of interests in the creative process, encouraging deeper inquiry and revisiting past fascinations to uncover personal themes. It challenges beliefs about what is considered “good” and guides the transition from research to creation. 

MODULE 6

your biography

This chapter invites deep self-reflection through personal stories and emotional experiences. It encourages connecting with past versions of yourself and exploring the experiences that shaped you. 

MODULE 7

finding your creative core

This final chapter recaps the course and reviews the inspiration book, guiding you to choose a timeframe, topic, and theme for your project. Together we will distill all the themes collected in the course to 5 or 6 core themes.
It also offers methods and planning strategies to help you complete your creative work, along with prompts to stay creatively engaged.
